Therapist & Clinical Director

Once you step into our office suite, you will find a waiting area with reading material and gentle music to allow you to take a few moments to prepare for your session. Some clients enjoy arriving a little early to give themselves time to transition from the activities of the day and to reflect and prepare for their session.

We encourage you to do what feels best for you.

Step 4 – Your Session

Your therapist will meet you at your appointment time in the waiting area.

Your session will take place in a private therapy room that has been designed to be a comfortable and safe space for you to engage in healing and growth. The length of your session is generally 50 minutes, however, some therapists may choose to provide longer sessions and if that is the case, your therapist will discuss that with you.

At the time of booking your first session, an email will be sent to welcome you to The Relationship Centre along with an invitation to complete your online client profile and forms to outline the process of therapy, confidentiality and consent to treatment. If you have any difficulty using the online intake process, your therapist can provide you the opportunity to complete it during your first session.

Step 5 – Your Payment

Payment is made at the end of each session.

You will be provided with a detailed receipt to provide your insurance provider if applicable. We accept cash, cheque, debit, credit card & e-transfer. For more details, and to learn about our options for direct billing we encourage you to read our Fees page or contact us directly. We are here to help in any way we can.

Step 6 – Cancellation Policy

Please let us know if you are unable to attend your session.

If you need to cancel or change your appointment time, two business days’ notice is required to avoid being charged for the session.
