This is How We Measure Success/Excellence in this Role:

  • Client retention/engagement numbers that are higher than average for the practice.

  • Consistently booking 10 weekly sessions at the outset of therapy.

  • Clients remain in therapy until planned pause or discharge.

  • Low cancellation rate – below the average of the practice.

  • Low no show rate – below the average of the practice.

  • Charting completed within 48 hours.

  • MHTR, CFB & VAC Assessment Reports completed with a high degree of quality, both clinically and grammatically, and in a timely manner without prompts from the admin team.

Requirements

  • Master of Social Work or Masters of Arts degree in relevant field 

  • Registered with a professional body that enables one to practice social work or psychotherapy

  • Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) preferred 

  • Certification in Trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) an asset 

  • Professional Liability Insurance 

  • 3 to 5 years related job experience, post Master’s degree completion

  • Experience working with computers and competent with Microsoft Office programs 

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a courteous and respectful manner both verbally and in writing 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills 

  • Reliable and dependable 

  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to treat clients with concern and empathy, respecting confidentiality and privacy
